The Pineapple Chunks Man Vs. The Pony People
Wednesday, September 05, 2007

Intro Music to this podcast was The Idiots are Taking Over from NOFX via http://music.podshow.com.  We dove right in with Stuart throwing in a U2 reference letting out a somewhat tentative “Rock and Roll Doggy.” After a bit of waffling around about whether we have anything to talk about UB launched into a bit of (old now) news abotu Japan’s performance in the American Football World Cup which led on to a brief discussion of American Football video games and American Football on British TV.  Stuart then confessed his chagrin at having wrongly chastised the BBC for it’s earthquake coverage.

Here is where the fun started with revelation after revelation (that makes two revelations right?) about your intrepid host.  You’ll have to listen to the riveting discussion of The Pinapple Chunks Man vs. The Pony People and Bob’s new iPod to learn these shocking details for yourself.

We then moved on to Twitter and it’s usefulness or lack there of, and Pownce and AIR.  We briefly mentioned the Mac OS X app Little Snitch before dashing on again to discuss a project UB is shuffling around trying to find a starting point on and Stuart’s resume tracking script.  More geekery followed and then we closed things up with a round of Been in Japan too Long baseball.

Closing music was the fantastic “The Future Soon” by Jonathan Coulton.
