The New Year

The New Years holiday is a convenient time to reexamine what we have been doing and whether it is taking us where we want to go.  At Akatombo Media, we are fairly pleased with the progress we have made in the past year, but are not yet satisfied with where we are.

This year we have been privileged to work with some great people and for some great clients.  We have done work for a subsidiary of Sony and the largest electronics exhibition in Japan. We have had the opportunity to work with great people like Export Japan, Souzouzone, Mediatinker, and the Rising Sun Directory.

We have gotten quite a lot of multilingual work, and quite a fair amount of translation work including some work for prefectural governments.  We have been able to work on the full spectrum of project sizes from dynamic websites with hundreds of pages to static sites with only a few pages.  We have been able to offer our clients what they were looking for, and successfully meet their needs, but I think we can do a lot more.

In the next year we hope to do a lot more to offer our clients products that they may not have thought about that will add a lot to their sites.  We already have a couple of different products in the works to make this a reality.  We hope to help our clients improve usability and accessibility as well as working to optimize their sites to reduce costs.

As always, our ultimate goal is to help our clients to do what they do better and more efficiently.  We will continue to strive to help our clients meet their goals as easily and cost-effectively as possible without sacrificing quality and effectiveness.

Our real purpose is to meet our clients’ needs.  Please feel free to contact us with any idea that you have for what you would like to do online.  We’ll try our best to provide you a solution or advice on how best to accomplish it.  We look forward to serving you in the New Year.
